Harare-The Moderator of the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe (RCZ) officially commissioned a suite of new infrastructure projects at Eaglesvale Schools recently, signaling a bold step in the institution’s ongoing modernization drive.
The projects are designed to modernize facilities, enhance the learning environment, and advance digitalization in line with Zimbabwe’s national development goals.

The newly inaugurated facilities include a state-of-the-art Design and Technology building, a new infants’ classroom, an infants’ swimming pool, and a 15-seater Toyota Hiace vehicle to improve school transport.
Each addition reflects a commitment to hands-on, future-ready education and the broader aim of providing a holistic learning experience for students from early childhood through adolescence.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Moderator, Rev Dr Ezekiel Baloyi, said RCZ’s role as the responsible authority for Eaglesvale Schools and its ongoing dedication to renewal and infrastructural development.
“Our vision is to provide learners with facilities that prepare them for the future, equipping them with skills, values, and opportunities that align with the country’s development agenda,” the Moderator said, noting education as a cornerstone of both spiritual and national growth.
Church leadership has consistently positioned Eaglesvale Schools as centers of excellence, and this latest wave of investments reinforces that commitment.
By upgrading classrooms, expanding recreational facilities, and improving transport, the RCZ aims to create an environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually, while also embracing digital tools that modernize teaching and learning.
Educators and local community members welcomed the developments, noting that the new infrastructure will support a more dynamic and inclusive school experience.
As Eaglesvale continues its modernization journey, the RCZ’s proactive investment signals a clear message: the church is steadfast in nurturing well-rounded, capable learners who are prepared to contribute to Zimbabwe’s bright future.
The commissioning marks a significant milestone in ensuring Eaglesvale Schools remain aligned with world-class standards and the nation’s developmental ambitions.
