Masvingo– Ezra Chadzamira, the Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution, who was recently crowned the 2025 Best State Minister by His Excellence President Emmerson Mnangagwa for Performance Excellence received overwhelming messages of praise pouring from all corners of the community  for  coming out tops again.

The accolade, which marks a second triumph for the Masvingo leader, has triggered a flood of congratulations from across the province and beyond.

Local authorities lauded Chadzamira for his steady stewardship and commitment to devolution, while private sector players praised his push for a climate that supports business growth and development.

General residents using both traditional channels and social media flooded timelines and message boards with words of admiration, celebrating what many describe as a milestone for Masvingo’s governance and public service.

Industry leaders and civic groups highlighted the award as a reflection of consistent performance and a tangible boost to the province’s development agenda.

 The recognition underscores the ongoing efforts to empower districts, streamline provincial administration, and deliver services more efficiently to the people in Masvingo.

As the province basks in the glow of the achievement, observers say the honor not only cements Chadzamira’s reputation for results but also shines a spotlight on Masvingo’s evolving role in the national push for effective governance and devolution.

Bikita Rural district council was among a host of local authorities that congratulated the Minister for steering development in the district and province at large.

Ezra Ruvai Chadzamira on winning the President’s Best Minister of State Award!, Your unwavering commitment dedication to serving Masvingo and Zimbabwe on the development front in line with achieving vision 2030 goals is truly inspiring. Wishing you continued success,” said Bikita RDC in a statement.

Masvingo United Football Club joined other institutions when it expressed its warm congratulations message to the Minister who is also their club Patron.

“The Club President, Chairperson, Executive Committee, Coaches, players and supporters extend heartfelt congratulations to Masvingo State Minister Ezra Chadzamira who is also the club team’s patron on being awarded the 20225 Best State Minister by President ED Mnangagwa,” read part of the message.

Una Una as the club is affectionately known hailed the Minister’s passion for developing Masvingo province aligning perfectly with Zimbabwe’s vision of achieving an upper middle income economy by 2030.

The club also sent kudos to the Minister Permanent Secretary, Dr Addmore Pzvakavambwa who scooped the 1st runner up for 2025 Pem Sec awards.

Housing developers giants, December 12 Abundant Life Zimbabwe, Director, Wellington Mahwende also expressed his profound congratulations to province most senior public servant.

“The Director, Management and Staff would like to extend our warm congratulations to Minister of State, Hon Ezra Chadzamira for being awarded the best State Minister 2025 in the country by his excellence President ED Mnanagwa, your dedication and commitment to duty is second to none as depicted by the development that has transformed the face of Masvingo province,” Mahwende said in statement.

Chadzamira is hailed for presiding over massive developmental projects that have transformed the face of Masvingo province over the past years.

Among other major projects Chadzamira has spearheaded water bodies investment particularly at Tugwi Mukosi dam that has seen vast interests from agriculture firms supporting sugar cane plantations.

The province has also seen the upgrading and refurbishment of Buffalo Airport in Chiredzi while Bikita Lithium Sin Mine continue to contribute in developing local communities.
