Masvingo- The wait is over for entertainment lovers in Masvingo, with two star-studded line-ups set to take to the stage at Caravan Park during the Sanganai Hlanganani Tourism Expo in much-anticipated live performances that organisers say will draw fans from across the country and the Province.
The Chipaz Promotions organised shows will be held concurrently with the Sanganai Tourism Expo and will mark a much-anticipated Winky D first appearance this year.
September 11 will see sungura maestro Alick Macheso taking to the stage, supported by Seh Calaz, Feli Nandi, who recently filled up HICC, Chimurenga musician Kurai Makore, Jnr Spraggah and Bling 4.
September 12 will also feature the Gaffer Winky D as the headline act supported by Bagga.WekwaMaramba, Jah Signal, Mbeu and Madedido.
Alick Macheso’s publicist Tich Makahamadze said the band is ready to give fans an unforgettable experience.
“We are excited to be back in Masvingo. Fans can expect the very best of our usual catalogue of hits by Baba Sharo” said Makahamadze.
Expectation is high among music lovers in Masvingo, with fans promising to pack the venue on both days.
“I am out of words; the excitement is too much, mudhara Macheso and Baba Abhurahama Winky D will finally be in our city. We had been starved of entertainment by popular artists; thank you, Chipaz. Now it’s our turn, and it’s coming as premium stuff. We are definitely going to pack the venue and have a nice time with family and friends,” said an elated fan.
Mbeu promised energetic performances for his fans who resonate with his music.
“Greetings to all my fans in Masvingo. September is going to be special. Expect good music, good energy, and a celebration of our culture. Masvingo always shows love, so we’re bringing our A-game. See you there!” said Mbeu.
Caravan Park proprietor Garikai Garande saidthat, that, as usual, preparations have already begun at the venue, and fans will be served the usual treats with food and drinks at affordable prices on both nights.
The venue will feature tight security, a secure parking area, and serve premium food and drinks.Â
Chipaz Promotions said Masvingo will shut down in style.

The two shows are expected to bring a boost to hospitality and transport operators in the city, who are expected to ferry and serve fans who will throng the venue.
