Veteran Gaffer, Saul Chaminuka, has been appointed the new head coach at Bikita Chida Athletic Club (BCAC) following the departure of Oscar Dzikamai Mavhima, who has been on the hot seat of the struggling Pacific Storm Eastern Region Division 1 league’s new boys.
BCAC announced that they reached a mutual agreement to part ways with Muvhimi, effective immediately, after a poor start.

He leaves the team standing in position on the log, after overseeing the team’s 7 matches with 1 win, 2 draws, and 4 losses.
In a move the club says will invigorate its pursuit of excellence, BCAC has appointed Chaminuka as the new Head Coach, also effective immediately.
Chaminuka takes over full responsibility for the team’s technical leadership, bringing a fresh focus to training, tactics, and on-pitch performance.
The club emphasized that he will be backed by the resources and environment necessary to grow, compete, and succeed.
“Our supporters have stood with us through this transition,” the Executive Committee said in a statement.
“Your dedication remains the cornerstone of this club, and your continued commitment is deeply valued and appreciated. We are confident that under Chaminuka’s leadership, BCAC will grow stronger, compete at the highest levels, and continue to honor our core values.”
The committee also expressed gratitude to Muvhimi for his contributions and wished him ongoing success within the football fraternity.
BCAC reaffirmed its mission to uphold discipline, passion, and pride across all levels of the club.
As BCAC moves forward, the Executive Committee invites fans, players, and partners to rally behind the team with renewed energy and belief in a bright, competitive future as discipline, passion, and pride remain the club’s guiding principles
