The second half saw the visitors seeking an equaliser but Una Una goalkeeper Valentine Chibwana pulled up outstanding saves.

Una Una could have scored a second but their strikers missed from point blank range.

Tongogara had a player sent off for a second yellow card but Una Una could not turn their numerical advantage into goals.

One nil it ended with Una Una maintaining joint top spot with FC Hunters whom they trail due to an inferior goal difference.

Masvingo United spokesperson Omen Mafa said they have finally got their revenge over Tongogara who beat Una Una in the reverse fixture.

“Another 3 points in the bag. It was a revenge match. They humiliated us in the first fixture. However, they gave us the run for our money.

We wanted more goals but we are happy with the 3 points.

We remain in the race. Our focus is on our next assignment at Maramba Stadium. We urge our supporters to travel and rally behind the team.” said Mafa.
