Real Agenda for Youth Transformation Trust (RAFYT) together with its partners made a special Christmas donation to Alpha Cottages putting a smile on the faces of children housed at the orphanage recently.
The organization carried out a Christmas drive initiative which canvassed for donations from the community and offered early Christmas presents for the vulnerable kids most of them orphans.

RAFYT managed to get a suitcase and black bag full of clothes as well as sanitary wear towards the cause.
One of the organizers, Ngonidzashe Faith, said they took time to play with the kids, had a modelling contest and enjoyed some ice cream to spice up a day well spent.
“We went there to see how Alpha Cottages conducts its operations and also to play with the kids while bringing them clothes. We partnered with Charles Austin Theatre, DC Entertainment, Wezhira Dance Group, Peer Educators, Miss ToTo, Miss Masvingo, Miss Teen Charles Austin, and Miss Personality to make the donation possible” said Faith.
The donations made will go a long way in alleviating the clothing needs of children housed at the institution.

RAYF youth right organization says their objective to fight for young people rights to issues such as shelter, food, clothing and education hence they selected the vulnerable kids at Alpha Cottage to mark the forth coming festive season.
“Our agenda involves empowering the young people especially the vulnerable, orphans, those with disabilities and street children who have lost their parents and guidance, we wanted to give them a smile on their face ahead of the festive season, “said RAYFT, Director, Tinashe Chirape.
He added that they are organizing more assistive programmes to the vulnerable in and around the province.
