Masvingo-Nemanwa Township is experiencing a vast rise in entertainment business empires, the latest being the recently opened Pagomba PaMakasva sports bar and grill which has become a popular and hot drinking spot.

The facility which boasts of a butchery pub, sports bar and grill was established by astute female businessperson, Misodzi Chivange, who returned from Australia to set up ventures in Entertainment, farming, travel and tourism.

Talent Chivange who is son to the proprietor said he drew inspiration from his mother who supported him in his first venture in 2012 first in the transport sector with a bus plying the Masvingo to Zaka route where he was vying for a Parliamentary seat in his home area of Zaka East Constituency.

With the support of his mother he moved into property as a middleman around 2014 then in 2016 he drew inspiration from the proprietor of Pagomo Wimpy whom he reached an agreement with to do renovations so that he could establish a restaurant and butchery.

Chivange then also ventured into cross border trade while running a minibus plying the Masvingo to Mussina route.

He suffered a setback during the Covid 19 era as sales plummeted to a record low but this did not deter him.

Chivange said he is currently running the popular Nemanwa joint as a manager together with support from his mother the major funder who injected the startup capital into the project for Pagomba.

As a man who has traversed across various parts of the globe Chivange drew inspiration and motivation from the various businessmen he met on his international junkets.

Chivange said his mother chose Nemanwa because of its strategic location because of its tourist catchment area proximity.

“Nemanwa has a unique setup as it is near the Great Zimbabwe Monuments and there are so many opportunities as it is a tourist resort area. It is a place where my mother felt she could do business with people from all walks of life and all skin colours” said Chivange.

Chivange added that they have designed a cozy place where everyone can enjoy and have a unique experience of entertainment.

“We can now bring DJs, artists from all over and even foreign artists at our pub bar and grill” said Chivange.

Locals and tourists can now afford the luxury of luncheons and entertainment in a spacious environment courtesy of the new business initiative.

Chivange further said they have plans to diversify into the energy sector and the transport industry.

The joint has now taken over as the hub of entertainment and continues to receive rave reviews among patrons and imbibers who throng the drinking spot
