Veteran football administrator Nobioth Magwizi has clinched the ZIFA Masvingo Chairman post after no one else challenged him for the post.
Magwizi’s success is a testament of real belief in his leadership acumen which has steered ZIFA Masvingo forward.

He is a holder of numerous football qualifications including ZIFA Football Administration Certificate (2018), FIFA Good Governance Certificate (2019) and ZOC Sports Administration Certificate (2019).
Magwizi has vast experience in football administration where he served as Chairman of Gutu Leopards FC, FC Victoria and Masvingo United.
He also held the Board Member post for Development ZIFA Masvingo Province Chairman, Chairman ZIFA Masvingo Province from 2015 to 2018 and was part of the ZIFA First Instance Board & Beach Football committee member from
2018 to date.
Magwizi has also served as a national member within ZIFA and formed the delegation for Warriors matches on many occassions including at AFCON tournaments.
Magwizi said he is mainly concerned about local football development.
“It is my desire and aspiration to intensify and bolster the development of football in the country through supporting the participation of youth in football activities. I will ensure that football is developed using my experience and skills. I fully support the participation of boys and the girl child” said Magwizi.
To his credit Magwizi has 21 years of experience in football management which has been recognised through landing the post uncontested.
