Masvingo -Prominent Zanu PF land barons, Godard Dunira and former Chivi Central Legislator, Ephraim Gwanongodza were further remanded out of custody in a land fraud case involving grabbing of hundreds of hectares of land for housing and commercial stands from a land developer.
In a routine remand court appearance on 29 October, Magistrate Innocent Befura said the two powerful politicians should return to court on 28 November this year.
The duo spent a week in remand prison sometimes this month in connection with a case involving the sale of residential and commercial stands valued at more than US$1 million in the Victoria Range, belonging to land developer Shine plus.

Their bail conditions to report to Masvingo Central Police Station every Friday remain.
Details released by the court indicate that the allegations center on the sale of over 100 hectares of land which they fraudulently grabbed from Shineplus land developing company.
The bail arrangement requires the duo to remain compliant with the terms set by the magistrate, including regular reporting to the police.
The case has drawn side scale attention and interests within Masvingo province and beyond due to the two’s political standing and the substantial value of the transactions involved.
Dunira was represented by Lawyer Msindo Hungwe while Gwanongodza was represented by Advocate Tichaona Bhunu.
