Zimbabwe Congress of Students Union (ZICOSU) Masvingo Chapter is set to host its first ever Miss Zicosu Masvingo beaut pagent at Flamboyant Hotel this Friday.
The event is expected to be graced by the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Ezra Chadzamira, as the guest of honour.
Zicosu Masvingo Secretary General John Guma said participants for the cat walk contest will be drawn from all tertiary institutions from Masvingo province.
“The contest will begin at 6pm and so far we have 10 models who have confirmed their participation.
Our Minister of State will be the guest of honour at this in augural event” said Guma.
Admission has been pegged at US$50 for VVIP, US$20 for VIPs, US$2 for students with IDs and $5 for non students.
Attendees are expected to subscribe to the dresscode for the exquisite peagent that has been set as strictly formal.
Guma said the judges and individual awards will be unveiled on the day of the contest.
Students at various tertiary institutions in the province say they are exstatic to attend the event.
“I am very much excited to attend the cat walk show, I am a modelling lover and I cant wait,” said Lisa Moyo from Great Zimbabwe University.
