Masvingo — A Masvingo magistrate granted US$200 bail on Thursday to two prominent land barons, Godard Dunira and Ephraim Gwanongoza who had spent a week in remand prison , in connection with a case involving the sale of residential and commercial stands valued at more than US$1 million in the Victoria Range .

The two men, who are senior Zanu PF officials in Masvingo province, were released on bail and ordered to report to Masvingo Central Police Station every Friday as part of their bail conditions.

They are scheduled to return to court on 29 October.
