Masvingo -The Mucheke Social League continues to prove its value as a unifying force in the community through the world‘s most beautiful game, football, amid scintillating matches over the weekend, which saw Yeukai FC extending their perfect run after edging Chivara FC 2-1 in a lively Match Day four encounter played at Runyararo Primary School grounds.

Backed by a growing crowd of local supporters, Yeukai FC delivered yet another disciplined performance to make it four wins out of four, taking their points tally to 12 and cementing their dominance in the league.

The match was not just about competition, but also about community pride, as residents gathered to support their teams and celebrate local talent.

Chivara FC, despite the defeat, showed determination and moments of promise, but remains with three points after registering one win and three losses so far this season.

Speaking with this publication after the match, Yeukai FC head coach Stuart ‘Shule’ Tapera expressed confidence in their continued strong form and teamwork.

“We are happy with the way the team is playing. The boys are executing well on the field and showing great understanding. If we keep this level, we believe we can go far,” said Tapera.

On the other hand, Chivara FC’s head coach, Simon Jengwa, remained positive, highlighting the unity within his squad despite the result.

“This is not the result we wanted, but Chivara FC players showed great spirit today. We are picking up from game by game. The unity in the team is commendable despite the loss, and I believe that is what will drive us forward. We will bounce back stronger,” he said.

In Match Day 5, Yeukai FC will face Chaminuka Chiefs as they seek to maintain their unbeaten streak, while Chivara FC will take on Pangolin FC in hopes of turning their season around.
