Mashava- Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) Mashava campus Clubhouse is set to host the Mister and Miss GZU peagent this Friday.
The contest will run under the theme, A night of glitz and glamour promoting student culture celebrating empowerment and crowning institution royalty.
Students will enjoy free entry and entertainment galore will be provided by a surprise guest artist.
One of the organisers Abel Mukozho said 16 contestants will battle it out for the crown.
“We have 16 contestants 6 boys and 10 girls. In terms of cash prices we are still waiting to hear from our sponsors but I can confirm that there are hampers already in stock
We are still to confirm who our guest of honour will be and the event is absolutely free for all students with IDs” said Mukozho.
Students said they cannot wait to experience non stop entertainment night.
“We are ready Friday is going to be lit. We thank our institution for hosting entertainment events which will give us breathing space away from the lecture rooms” said one student.
